What is coaching?
My coaching is informed by years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker and mindfulness-oriented therapist who specializes in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also utilize my training in CORE Energy Coaching, my certification from the International Coach Federation, and my personal experience in both creating and recreating businesses, as the founder of my own business and as a board member in my husband’s periodontal practice.
Long story short: I have both the professional training and the practical experience to meet you where you’re at and get you where you want to go.
Why do I need a coach?
But do you want a coach? Yes, you do.
Because while you can make it happen on your own, working with a coach can massively accelerate your progress, drawing out your expertise so you’re in a better position to make decisions and take action in your business. Working with a coach means that you’re going to get where you want to go faster, with less wasted time and energy, and more meaning and fulfillment.
What happens during coaching?
What that looks like practically is we start out by getting the lay of the land with a series of evidence-based tools and processes, then together, we create a plan to move forward, then work through that plan in a series of client-directed sessions. By the end of our time together, you’ll know that can achieve anything and everything you’re willing to put the sweat equity into.
What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
Both therapy and coaching are nuanced professions, and it can be difficult to explain all of the differences in a short statement. But I’m going to try. Here goes:
Therapists are uniquely trained to guide people from a place of distress and dysfunction back to normal functioning. Coaches generally start with people who are already at their baseline and help them reach optimal function.
Do you only work with therapists and coaches?
How much does coaching cost?
Coaching isn’t a one-size-fits-all process, which is why I tailor my coaching packages to meet each client’s need. As a result, the total financial investment varies based on the frequency and duration of coaching.
However, as a general guide, my single-session offerings range from $397 (for an Energy Leadership Index assessment and debrief) to $1,297 (for a one day client intensive). An extended coaching relationship lasts from three to twelve months, with the investment ranging from $3,000 to $9,950.
What is ACT on Your Business?
Built on my philosophy for building a business that’s anchored in meaning, mindset, and mindfulness, it gives you evidence-based practices and processes to develop yourself as an entrepreneur –– because that’s the inevitable first step to building a sustainable business.
Can I invite you to speak at my event or business?
I also do bespoke trainings for organizations that want to get their mission statements off the wall and into their work. For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
